TruceLogistics is a family-owned freight forwarder from Rotterdam — 180 people who believe international shipping should feel like working with one calm, competent team, not a call centre.
Our story
Started with one truck and a promise
In 2012, brothers Daan and Ruben Vermeer left a global forwarder to start their own — frustrated that clients were numbers and quotes never matched invoices. They leased one trailer, rented a corner of a Waalhaven shed, and made a promise: quote it honestly, move it carefully, answer the phone.
Fourteen years later we run four hubs and move 32,000+ shipments a year. The promise hasn’t changed — it’s printed on the first page of every contract we sign.

2012
Founded in a Waalhaven shed
Two brothers, one leased trailer, and the first client — a ceramics importer still with us today.
2015
First own warehouse
8,000 m² in the Waalhaven — and our first ocean carrier contract.
2018
AEO certification & in-house customs
Our own declarant team files its first entry. Border hand-offs end here.
2021
Singapore and Houston open
Own offices on the Asia and transatlantic trades — same promise, more time zones.
